*Each class begins at 9:45 a.m. every
Sunday, except Unity Sunday*
Sunday School Highlights
Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9:45 am for small
group fellowship and Christian nurture. We have classes for
all ages, including a variety of classes for adults. On fifth
Sundays we have a combined Unity worship service at 10 am;
therefore, Sunday School does not meet.

As part of our children’s program, we offer a
combined Sunday School Opening Worship. Grades K-3 will meet in the
Sanctuary each Sunday at 9:45 to sing, hear the scripture lesson,
learn the key verse, and join in a special children’s song just for
that lesson. Children will then go to their classes to hear a Bible
story, do crafts and play games related to the lesson.
Our nursery-age children will have special Bible
lessons designed just for ‘Toddlers and Two’s’. Our children
from preschool through 6th
grade will use a new literature series called Rock Solid, a
Bible-based series written for today’s children that uses the great
stories of the Bible to help children develop a ‘rock solid’
foundation for faith.
Junior High Classes use Vericity Video Vignettes to
engage youth through the use of modern media and small group
discussion. High School Class uses Velocity Video Vignettes to
challenge the hearts and minds of youth as thy face the challenges
of high school.
PUMC offers professional nursery care and trained
Sunday School volunteer teachers.
