In Mission Toward God's Promised Land
In order to elicit the most membership participants, we
will need to delay the beginning of our study until after Easter. We
were originally planning on having the study during the time of Lent
- a time of repentance and reflection - and certainly seemed like
perfect timing. Rather than fracturing the study, we thought it
would be best to keep it at a steady pace and reschedule beginning
in April (date to be determined after Easter). We will
conclude the week of May 23, Pentecost Sunday. This is also very
good timing for our study!

Sermon Series Begins February 14
If you would like to

that there may be times you will need to miss your selected small
group time. You can always make up your missed session during
another study group that week. Following are the dates for the
upcoming Sermon Series:
Beginning next
Sunday, Pastor John will begin a 6 week sermon series based on the
book, Does Your Church Have a Prayer – In Mission Toward God’s
Promised Land. This is the book being used by our small groups
to aid our congregation in understanding several key Biblical
principles and to aid us in the development of a Strategic Ministry
Plan for our church. The sermons will parallel the small group
readings for each week. Please make every effort to hear these
important messages, especially if you are not participating in a
study group. If you would like to have a book so you can follow
along on your own, please call Sandra for a copy. The books are at
the author’s price of $6.00.
