Our
Goals
The
purpose of the United Methodist Youth Group is to promote Christian
fellowship with young people from grades 7-12 through a variety of
activities; including missionary retreats, leadership skills, Bible
study, fellowship & fun!
This year we have formed a Youth Council who will be leaders in our
youth program. The next time you're at church, please feel free to
introduce yourself to one of our Council members: Hope
Robertson, Emily Howland, Taylor Butler, Dillon Butler, Samantha
Lewis and Justin Robbins.

Meeting Schedule

Jr.
High Youth, grades 7-8, will meet the 2nd and 4th Sunday of
each month from 5-7 pm.

Sr.
High Youth, grades 9-12, will meet weekly from 7-9 pm
On the third Sunday of
each month, our own Senior and Junior High Sunday School classes
will
host a mini service for the children!
Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts
Powhatan United
Methodist Church is proud to sponsor a Cub Scout and Boy Scout troop.
The Girl Scouts
of the Powhatan Service Unit dedicated a blue spruce tree at
the church in appreciation to PUMC for all the church has
done for them. The tree was donated in honor of the
95th anniversary of Girl Scouts of the USA.
