Jesus and, as our children of Powhatan United Methodist Church
move thru their faith journeys, we are here to help them know
that "Jesus Does Love Them" ~ all the children of the world, our
community and our church.

Vacation Bible School
August 2-6, from 9am until noon each
day. This year's theme is LavaLava Island. We need
volunteers to work in all areas of this wonderful witness-filled
week. Please be in prayer about this program - I can't do
it without you!
Children's Sermon: all
young-at-heart are welcome!
Children's Sermon
is a special time dedicated to our young disciples during the 11 am
service. This time enables our children
to have a better understanding of God's teachings while including
them as an integral part of family worship. Costumes, props,
puppets, and music help make this part of Sunday worship special to
children and adults alike.
Children's Church:
ages 5-9
We meet
each Sunday (excluding fifth Sundays) during the 11:00 a.m.
worship service in the Children's Church room. If you haven't
joined us in the past, please join us soon. We have lots of fun!
Kids
With Purpose: grades 4-6
Kids with Purpose is a mission
orientated program that teaches kids how important it is to
serve the Lord by serving each other. Kids with Purpose
will meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays following the 11 o'clock
service. What a
wonderful way to reach out to our church and our community!
